1. Login
To access the restricted Virtual Office areas of the website you must first sign up as a new user and log in. Other areas of the website, for example the Library and the Links areas, are publicly accessible and do not require logging in.
Look for the box in the upper right-hand corner of the website labeled
'Welcome' or 'System Login Info'. It will either tell you who is logged in OR it will provide entry boxes for your user name and password. Simply enter this information,
and click the 'go' button to login. If you don't already have a website account, click on new user signup.
2. Navigation
All the areas of the website are accessible through a horizontal menu system
at the top of the website, which includes the following items: HOME
ABOUT US (Our Mission; Background; HDC Structure; HDC Models; Maps; Contact Us)
COLLABORATIVES (Overview; HDC Topics; IT Inventory Tool)
OFFICE (Virtual Office; Calendar; Contacts; Files; My Account)

REPORTS (National Results Sharing Site)
LINKS HELP (Quickstart; Site How-To Help; Help Desk; FAQs)
To go to an area of the website, click on a main menu item, or hover your mouse over the item to view a sub-menu of areas under the main menu item. Roll your mouse down the sub-menu and click the
area you wish to visit.
Also keep in mind that the Home Page includes many direct and timely links to specific pages or resources within the website. It is useful to scan the home page frequently, particularly the 'What's New' area to the upper right.

How-To Help', and 'Technical Support', can be found under the HELP on the main menu. The HDC 'Help Desk' is also accessible via the HELP menu item. |
